Keeping My Focus On You...

And the author is back from a very long hiatus.
I apologize for my lack of updates, but work has been taking a serious toll on me.
My social life has been almost put on hold now, and I have a few updates to give.
So this post will be all the mini updates I have, before I update on the missions trip to Malacca which will be a very lengthy post.
Hence, that will have to wait till I have more time on my hands.

My workstation. Auditors are messy people sometimes. xD

Though I'm generally very systematic, but I'm gonna have to jump the missions trip and update on the shorter ones first.
Enjoy. = )

27th August 2009
Pizza Day!
Went to mei's place for a random pizza day makan.
I never knew homemade pizza could be that good.

Ingredients.

The cheese was the icing on the cake, sorta.

Say cheese. = )

30th August 2009
It was a Sunday, and after church we headed off to a Prayer Prophetic Conference by Pastor Samson Dabbas.
It was quite a big deal, since they rented the ballroom in Crystal Crown hotel.
And since yours truly was on the drums, it was quite a bit of an experience.
Thank God everything went well though.

From the stage, or more accurately...the drums. Pre-service. : )

31st August 2009
It was Independence Day.
Since I refused to stay at home on a public holiday (and technically, the malls aren't really the best places in town to hang out on a public holiday), we went out jogging before heading to SS2 for dinner.
Yesh, jogging in Subang.
Simply awesome, just because....

Photobucket
...it was with you. : )

5th September 2009
It was the night, where weeks of studying (for some of us, hours) would be put to the test.
Some of us (*coughyourstrulycough*) depended on a lifetime of reading, but without any specific focus...it was a real test.

Presenting...

*drum roll*

HCC'S Annual Bible Challenge!

The Harvest Crew started out as the underdogs.
No kidding, simply because the kids were having drills week after week, and the men and the ladies had loads of experience over the years of Bible knowledge.
But...

We turned out champions!

Our wonderful coordinator and organizer! Thank you Rodney for always being that awesome. : )

The kids! No pushovers. All those Sunday school lessons paid off.

Team Harvest Crew! RAWR!

Everyone of them did me proud, did us proud.
It came to a tiebreaker right at the death, and we somehow made it through.
God's favor, even when we were the team which were least prepared.

Will post up the team picture once I get it from whoever's camera that took that shot!

13th September 2009
My awesome weekend begun on the 12th.
Finally Dines came over all the way from Klang to hang out, and the whole bunch of us college buddies finally met up.
Sweet reunion, with the usual chat, gaming session at the local cyber cafe, a whole load of crazy jokes, and sweet company.

Then, my weekend ended on a high.
Started off with church, and the Harvest Crew had a lunch trip to Steven's Tea Garden, Midvalley to spend our RM200 food voucher.
Adjourned back for practices, before I shot off to see her.

Photobucket
Billy's cool jumper. Haha, it zips right to the top.

The masked crusader and his fair maiden. xD

Photobucket
Sushi Zanmai for dinner! This was at Sunway Pyramid by the way.

Photobucket
The ambiance at this branch somehow appealed to me more than the branch in Midvalley.

Photobucket
My must-have whenever I go for sushi, Unagi! = )

Photobucket
My not-so-natural smile.

Photobucket
Tight lipped, sealed by you.

Photobucket
Only me, only you and the band.
