A song for you...

Listening to: Realize - Colbie Caillat

I realize that there will always be people around at your moments, and almost never during your mudholes.

The forgotten will stay forgotten.

I thank God for Him being always there 24/7.

Even now, in this state of sudden loneliness that has swept over me, tearing me apart, I know He's right here next to me.

~Sometimes, it takes tears to wash away the filth before seeing reality as it is~

Remind me to live for the present...

Listening to: It Feels Like Tonight - Chris Daughtry

Some pictures from the Hillsongs concert. They crammed in 3,000 people into their auditorium, which was the maximum for the capacity of GTPJ. The pictures aren't very clear, but will update more once I've gotten the rest of the pictures from Cla.

The tickets!

You probably ocan only see the flashing lights. My camera sucks, plus the atmosphere contributed to my lousy pictures. >.<" Anyway, the following day(Thursday) was a day out to treat ourselves after a very long and tiring semester of nothing but cock-eyed lecturers, lecturers with annoying ringtones that rang every single class, blur lecturers, assignments, and exams with nothing but numbers. Yeah, I didn't really fancy the semester, but hey, thank God I made it out in 1 piece. Went to Danial's place at 11am to pick him up, meet up with the rest, and then head off to Sunway for a day of relaxation. Photobucket
The reminders for the car park. Good for guys like me who sometimes forget where I've parked. xD

Photobucket
See what I mean?

Photobucket
Our destination. This was taken during the resurfacing period. Trust me, it was too packed to do any skating. Felt like sardines squashed in a can.

Photobucket
The directory. Unfortunately, it wasn't touch screen. OU still is more efficient in this sense.

Photobucket
Walk me through the alley.

Photobucket
Perfect background to pose? =D

Photobucket
A glimpse of Sunway Lagoon.

Photobucket
After lunch, we adjourned to our destination.

Photobucket
All set!

Photobucket
Maybe not. Besides Danial and myself, they were pretty much first timers to ice-skating.

Photobucket
Still having problems? What's that smile for? Haha!

Photobucket
Before entering. From L-R: Danial, Gloria, Yan, and Adam. Note the entirely dressed Adam in black, but with white gloves, and yet he can afford the luxury of posing.

Photobucket
Once you've entered, this is what you get. Believe me, this was only a part of the crowd. School holidays and all the little kids come out to play.

Photobucket
Dan and Matt.

Photobucket
Ignore my overly poyo moment.

After skating for a few hours, we went back to Dan's place for BBQ. I obviously went back with blisters on both legs. Boo.

Photobucket
Dan's fish pond.

Photobucket
My new maid cleaning the BBQ grill. xD

Photobucket
Smile like you mean it.

Photobucket
Bah, poor lighting. Shows how amatuer-ish I am.

Photobucket
The early birds. From top clockwise: Eddie, Elaine, Danial, Gloria, Matt, and Adam(excluding Yan).

Photobucket
Emo kid! =P

Photobucket
The first batch.

Photobucket
The real thing.

Photobucket
Burning coal, charcoal to be precise.

Photobucket
Matt and Eddie.

Photobucket
Finally, picture of the night! =D

That ends my short holidays. Had futsal on Friday, but other than that, its the weekends! Church camp starts on Monday, and I have not started packing. I'm song leading for the last session. Bah, feeling nervous already. For some idea, I don't feel so excited, but I know God is gonna do something great during camp. We have Pastor Clement as our speaker! Ah, lots of laughter, tears, and stitches in the tummy to be sure.

Thats about it. Bah, the mind is going all over the world again. Confused giler.

You define perfect, and I'll show you perfection...

Today was perfect; almost fairytale-ish.

Finals finished.
Had lunch @ Ikea.
Finally played football again.
Picked her up from Subang.
Had dinner at McDees!
Went for possibly the best concert this year.
Hillsongs rocked really awesome!

Most of all, God taught me stuff during worship, and the way He spoke to me and all. I was just in awe. His presence was beyond this world, and I just wanted to fall under His presence. He's so amazing!!!

Details up in my next post, but for now, I wanna enjoy my few days of rest. Tomorrow's gonna be another long day, but in a very positive way. Can't wait!

May the stars guide and keep you tonight.

A silver pence and you're as soar as a thumb...

Listening to: Gotta Get Her - B5

Feeling a lil demotivated now, with the final paper tomorrow. Just feeling extra demotivated tonight. I'll let the pictures do the talking. = (

Photobucket
Blue Riding Hood visited college recently.

Photobucket
Went to Jaya 1's Old Town White Coffee for lunch today. How did the car park in?

Photobucket
Smoking is bad for health! So don't smoke!

Photobucket
Cause this is what it does to second hand smokers. = )

Anyway, I've got finals tomorrow! So I'll be going off. DO pray for me if you're reading this. Doesn't matter if its last minute, cause God is always there. = )

Bah, so demotivated. = (

You're my exhiliration and thrill...

Listening to: Thanks for the Memories - Fall Out Boy

91 words

Speed test

Ugh, poop! Didn't do as well as I could have, simply 'cause I stoned for a second or two wondering where were the next words that were supposed to appear once I was done with the first 1. Bleah...Actually remembered to do this when Cla asked me to do a long time ago. Sorry.

Just finished studying through a short while ago. Its funny, cause I know I've studied everything, yet I feel not prepared. Maybe its due to the lack of exercises that I should be doing in preparation for finals. However, I'm still quietly confident that I can achieve excellence and that somehow God will pull me through.

Today's message was comforting, timely, and on the spot. God is awesome, seriously. Its like He gave me an answer and I know what to do. First up, gotta put all this aside and concentrate on the finals.

Its funny how we constantly seek for approval from peers, seek for acceptance or just to be loved and all. Its funny how we seek approval from men, when the only person that ever really mattered is Him. It sucked to constantly seek for attention and acceptance and see all my peers in church gain it, but I've learned that the only person to ever please is Him alone.

I'm putting my feet down, cause I know that I'm accepted and love just the way I am and I do not need approval. This is the end of it. How I always seeked for your approval and attention, to be able to feel wanted and not neglected. Its all over. I don't really give a *bleep* anymore. I just realized that I gotta stop living in other people's shadow, always wanting to have what other people want.

This all sounds so familiar. Bah, I'll just be Matt.

Random pictures to make it up for all the ranting.

Photobucket
Front cover of a Graphic Designing book! Can you see the hidden words?

Photobucket
Back cover. Get the meaning?

Photobucket
I have my moments. And Adam claims my blog is famous because of his oh-so-wonderful-face. Hahahaha! Snortz.

Thats about it. Finals! Pray for me. On a lighter note, Hillsongs concert is in 3 days time! Excited much!

Sparking lights and smoke....

Listening to: All the Same - Sick Puppies

Let me start the post by congratulating some deserved winners of the week. First up, congrats to the newly crowned American Idol, David Cook. He was my favourite throughout and definitely had the voice to make it in the music industry. His voice reminds me a whole lot of Chris Daughtry with his rock-ish like voice. All the best! Can't wait for his albums to actually invade the market. = )

Photobucket
Sweet victory.

Also, not to be missed out was the tentalizing Champions' League finals which deservedly went to a very consistent team, and though most Liverpool fans would be rooting for the team that took them out in the semi-finals, I on the other hand beg to differ as I was rooting for Manchester United. If I must find someone to blame, its the influence of my friends. Peer pressure? Perhaps...

Photobucket
Kings of Europe! Congratulations!

Anyway, since it was a Champions' League finals, I decided to sacrifice my sleep to catch the match live. Got Danial, Eddie, and Aiq to pick me up and the first venue was to speed off to Pavillion, KL to supposedly catch the match. It was my first time to Pavillion, mind you and I wished the shops were all open. It was 12am though, so what do you expect?

Pictures...

Photobucket
A random shot while hanging out at MichaelAngelo's.

Photobucket
Ah, Starbucks...

Photobucket
Wine selection! There was whiskey, chivas, etc...I do not drink, but that night, I had my first taste of wine. Haha!

Photobucket
Bitter-ish with a tinge of sour-ness. Tasted really 'alien' to me at first. Mind you, that isn't my ciggarette box.

Photobucket
Yeap, this was it. Didn't bother reading the name. Try squinting if you're interested, and then let me know kay? xD

After that, we adjourned upstairs to the place to catch the match. Had a lil bit more wine, and we decided that the place sucked and we headed off to TTDI Plaza, the usual hangout.

Photobucket
Pavillion certainly looks like a ghost town at 1am.

Photobucket
Shiny lights.

Photobucket
The deco. Pretty unique. = )

Photobucket
Yes, Eddie was tipsy. Too much Heineken. Thats why I do not drink, especially beer.

Photobucket
This was my favourite of the night. No, its not absolute vodka. However, its mixed with some apple flavouring. This is extremely ADDICTIVE! You've been warned! I had 2 bottles just to prove what I'm saying.

The night turned out pretty interesting I would say. Too much to elaborate, but it was awesome. Needless to say, reached back at Danial's place, slept at 7am, woke up at 12pm, and had to actually study in the afternoon. Exams are around the corner, and the realization that I'm sitting for my finals is too much to bear.

On a lighter note, some random pictures from college in the recent days.

Photobucket
Dodgeball!

Photobucket
The court! The set-up was rather interesting as well.

Photobucket
Notice the stressed look? Bah, Finals suck.

Anyway, thank God for the time to blog a lil. Gotta head over to Taman Tun's library for yet again another study session. I bid a great weekend to all readers, and to all schoolers, no more ranting about nothing to do for your holidays. I'll gladly switch places with any of you. Bah...
