Without You My World Slips Away...

March has just flown by, and time is definitely running out on me.
Realization hit when I realize it's a mere 2 months away from one of the biggest exams I've ever taken.
I'm scared out of my wits, but it's my motivation to push all the way.

I've finally found some time (and some willpower) to update my most-of-the-time-dead-blog.
To be honest, I don't expect many people to stay.
Nevertheless, it's a blogger's duty to update it anyway.
Professionalism, integrity, objectivity...
Okay, ACCA is coming in. : )

Anyway, this update is going to be solely on my Chinese New Year Malacca trip.
It's IMAGE heavy, and I'm not kidding.
Enjoy.

Venue: Malacca town.
Date: 19th-20th February 2010.
Purpose: A very short holiday.

Photobucket
It always starts out with me camwhoring. : )

Next up was our quest for lunch.
The famous chicken rice ball that took us almost an hour walking under the hot afternoon sun trying to locate the place.
A bit overrated, but it was okay.

Photobucket
Man-made stone formations!

Photobucket
Awhh...love transcends everything.

Photobucket
Some kinda ride that takes you right to the top and gives a bird's eye view of the city.

Photobucket
Random shot #4.

Photobucket

Post-lunch, we headed back to the hotel room to chill.
After freshening up, we had tea and of course we went on the XBox 360 that was brought along.
Bliss.

Photobucket
Fish cakes.

Photobucket
Miniature model of a Malaysian 'kampung'.

It was cooling, the weather was perfect.

Photobucket
In the bubble pool.

Photobucket
Spot the monkey.

Photobucket
Clowning around.

Photobucket
Rawr!

Unfortunately, I got back to the room feeling under the weather.
The intense afternoon heat was to blame, and maybe my lack of water.
It has led to the cough that has plagued me till today.
Yes, annoying.

We turned in pretty early as Dines wanted to wake up at 7.30am the next morning for the breakfast buffet.

Photobucket
Taking opportunity of the stone arches. : )

Photobucket
Breakfast!

Photobucket
Here we go.

Photobucket
Fresh milk, orange, guava, and pineapple juice. Talk about 4 star hotels.

Photobucket
Noodles and they even had mini paus.

Photobucket
Nasi lemak.

Photobucket
Round 1.

Photobucket
Round 2.

Photobucket
Rawr!

Photobucket
Lings!

Photobucket
This is what you want to do when you've had a very heavy meal.

Photobucket
Chilling by the poolside.

Photobucket
Tranquility, somehow that's the word that comes to mind.

Photobucket
The Eye of Malaysia? Or maybe just Malacca...

Photobucket
Goodbye Malacca. : )

So that sums up my trip.
Next up, Lang Tengah trip in June.
Excited even thinking about it, but for now...it's the exams I need to tackle first.

Next post will be the remaining updates for February.
And until then, adios. : )
