Listening to: I Need You - Planetshakers
Yeah, I've been really stuck on their latest album. So its gonna be Planetshakers for a while. = ) Anyway, as promised, day 2 of camp!
HCC Church Camp Day 2!
Started off by waking up at around 7 or something around there. Brandon bunked over the night before and was awake way earlier before we even woke up. Anyway, went off for breakfast at around 8 plus.
The kids' table.
Pastor Clement on day 2 speaking about faith to do what God calls us to do.
After session, we had a short break and you won't believe it. There was food for us outside again. So we ate, and then continued the service. It was a good time, before we went off for lunch, and then the youth wanted to go swim again but I decided to pass and found myself playing Brandon's PSP instead. =D
It was rainy that afternoon, and the weather was soothingly cooling.
After swimming, we had tea which meant more food, before we headed off for team building where we were divided into 4 teams.
Iron Man: The guys; Cat Woman: The ladies; Burnt Out: The youth; Rockers: The kids.
There was a sense of unity, and yet friendly competitiveness among the teams. The team building session was divided into 2 games.
Iron Man, product of cheap quality camera. = (
Cat Woman.
Burnt Out.
Rockers. =D
First game required the whole team to be tied together, walk, hop, jump to the other side of the hall around a chair, and come back in the fastest time.
Second game pit 2 teams against each other, where 1 team will form a circle, and the other has to run around it, and pass a rubberband to the next team member.
Seemed a bit like they were gonna french at 1 time. Haha! =P
After games, we walked around and the mist started to flow in and blanket the entire resort, probably post rain conditions. It was really cool, and we played cards to pass the remaining time.
See what I mean? = )
From far, this is what it looks like. Zero visibility.
Magnificent view from atop.
Dinner was as usual and we went for our final night session.
The kids and their special presentation.
Pastor Clement's final night message.
After the session that night, we celebrated a very special birthday, Bernice and Eunice's birthday.
The birthday girls.
The birthday cake.
The twins and their family.
Supper.
Steph emo? Hahaha, kidding. xD
My hair somehow didn't turn out so nice that night. = /
Post session, we went for walks, hung out, joked around, and played cards. Slept close to 3am in view of the final session the next morning, and guess who had to song lead? Yours truly. =P No pictures yet though, but you'll have to wait till I get them.
Thats about it. Final day update coming soon.
Signing off,
Matt
